You can vote by absentee ballot if you are unable to vote in person on Election Day because of:

  • absence from the precinct
  • illness or disability
  • religious discipline or observance of religious holiday
  • service as an election judge in another precinct
    eligible emergency declared by the governor or quarantine declared by federal or state government

    With absentee voting, you can vote either in person before Election Day at the Crow Wing County Auditor's Office or by mail. You must submit a written application to the Crow Wing County Auditor's Office.

To vote in person, apply and/or vote during normal office hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday (except Holidays), or from 10 am to 3 pm the Saturday before an election at the Crow Wing County Auditor's Office.

To vote by mail, submit the Absentee Ballot application form to The County Auditor.  The ballot will then be mailed directly to you.
