You may register to vote at your polling place on Election Day by proving your residence one of the following ways:
*A valid Minnesota or tribal driver's license, permit, or identification card, or a receipt for any of these forms, that contains your current address.
*One document from the list in (a) and one document from the list in (b):
(a) an original bill in your name for gas, electric, telephone, cell, cable/satellite television, internet provider services, rent statement with itemized utilities, solid waste, water, or sewer services showing your current address and due up to 30 days before or after Election Day, and
(b) your Minnesota driver's license, Tribal ID or identification card with your photograph, United States passport with your photograph, United States military identification card with your photograph, or Minnesota postsecondary student identification card with your photograph
*A student identification card, registration card, or fee statement that contains the student's current address in the precinct; as long as it is accompanied by an acceptable form of identification.
*A regsitered voter who lives in your precinct may vouch for you.
*A current valid registration in the same precinct.
The above forms of identification are the ONLY items authorized by Minnesota Laws and Rules!
