Annual Harvest Plan

Annually, the Crow Wing County Lands & Forestry Advisory Committee reviews proposed harvest plans, as recommended by the Land Commissioner, and makes a recommendation to the Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners.

The land commissioner then reviews the proposed harvest plan with the County Board of Commissioners and brings forward the recommendation of the Advisory Committee.

Typically, the County Board approves the proposed plan as recommended by the land commissioner and the advisory committee and schedules a public meeting, at least six weeks hence, to further provide review and comment from the general public. Following public comment, the County Board typically approves the final harvest plan.

Below you will find the 2010 Harvest Plan on Crow Wing County Managed Forest Lands.  This was approved by the Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.
