The Lands and Forestry Advisory Committee is made up of:  Two County Commissioners, Eight Local Citizens (one from each district and three at-large), Four Land Resource Professionals, County Auditor Meetings will be held quarterly or as needed.  Committee members will be notified by mail of the date and time of upcoming meetings. The Committee is advisory to the Crow Wing County Board.  Its mission is to review forest management practices and make recommendations designed to mitigate adverse environmental impacts, assure compliance with existing standards and promote a healthy, productive, and sustainable forest.  The expanded Committee provides a broader perspective which will aid Crow Wing County in their efforts to be responsible stewards of the land and its resources.
