If you are looking for a way to help others, consider becoming a volunteer with the Crow Wing County Jail.  Opportunities range from supervising offender activities, such as quilt making, to teaching classes, such as parenting skills or money management.  Each of our programs are designed to help inmates find positive ways to spend their time and energy while incarcerated in our facility.  Persons wishing to offer their time and talents are required to complete a Crow Wing County Volunteer Application and are subject to a background check conducted by the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.  Please note that we typically do not accept volunteers who are acquainted or related to an inmate incarcerated in our facilities.  If you are interested and/or if you have an idea for a program that you believe would benefit our inmates, please contact our Programs Staff at (218) 822-7050.  Volunteer Applications can be printed out or picked up at the front desk of the jail.  Please return all applications by mail, in person, or by fax to (218) 822-7069.
